Spring in Disney World, Orlando

Visit Disney World, Orlando to see spring in bloom! This time of year, you can expect spring discounts for visitors as the holiday season is winding down. Look forward to mild and pleasant weather and fewer people in the park.

Fall in Love with Fall at Disney World, Orlando

While fall used to be a quiet period for Florida’s theme parks, the spooky delights of Halloween draw visitors worldwide! Disney World is awash with fall colors, seasonal refreshments, and, of course, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! As dusk falls on Halloween, Disney World lights up as your favorite characters gather for a parade in their spookiest costumes and the sky lights up with laser and firework displays. You can also enjoy trick-or-treating across the park’s different lands.

The party is ticketed and separate from standard park fees, so all Halloween fiends should buy their entry in advance! This is usually a busy time at Disney World, with other holidays falling during school breaks, including Columbus Day and Thanksgiving.

Temperatures remain pretty warm, especially in September with average highs of 89°F. This month is peak hurricane season, so expect storms, rain showers, and humid weather. Pack a poncho or umbrella just in case!

Enjoy the Winter Wonderland at Disney World, Orlando

Winter in Florida means Christmas! The Magic Kingdom is awash with red and green and festive music on every corner. The holiday season brings Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to Disney World, which is a separately ticketed event.

Start the season with holiday cheer as you enjoy Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. This magical time of year also features themed treats, rare characters, and ‘snowfall’ on Main Street!

Unsurprisingly, Christmas and New Year’s Day are Disney World’s busiest times. The park can close when it reaches maximum capacity, so be prepared for long lines. However, late January, early February, and March have fewer crowds to contend with.
